Accessibility
There are two large lifts from street level off Market Street to the basement clinic level (plenty of room for wheelchairs, buggies etc)
Getting to us
The main entrance to the practice is located on Market Street, opposite the rear entrance to the Covered Market. Market Street can be accessed from Cornmarket or Turl Street.
Bus Routes
Bus routes from all areas of the city stop in the city centre on St Aldate’s, the High Street or Magdalen Street, all of which are a short walk from the practice.
Bicycle
Bicycle racks are located opposite the main entrance to the practice on Market Street .
Drop-off
Patients with limited mobility can be dropped of by Taxi or by car outside the main practice entrance on Market Street. Vehicle access is via Broad Street, into Turl Street and then Market Street. Please note there is no parking on site.
Disabled Badge Holders (Blue Badge)
With a blue badge you can park on a single/double yellow line for up to 3 hours or in a disabled bay for an unlimited time. The nearest disabled bay is on Broad Street.
Out of Hours
Enhanced Access
We offer enhanced access clinics on some weekday evenings and on alternate Saturdays. These clinics include Nurse appointments, Blood test appointments, and some GP clinics.
Life Threatening
Call 999 or go to A&E now if:
- you or someone you know needs immediate help
- you have seriously harmed yourself - for example, by taking a drug overdose
A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.
Urgent But Not Life Threatening
Visit an urgent care centre if:
- You have an urgent medical issue requiring on the day attention
Non-urgent
Use NHS 111 if:
- You need help now, but it's not an emergency
There will be someone to provide you with advice and to direct you to a clinician if it is necessary.
